How to install an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator?

ok so heres the deal, how do you install one of these and where can i get it? also can some one please give me a detailed description on how to check the fuel pressure. i hear theres a schrader valve? and you have to disconnect a vacuum line. thats all i got out of the forums.

please help!

To install them, you'll have to take out 3 hex bolts from underneath, you'll probably have to take the upper intake off so you can get the fuel rail up enough to get to them unless you want to wrestle with them. Just 3 hex bolts. The vacuum line is the one connecting to the top of it and that comes from the underside of the upper intake.
The schrader valve is on the chrome rail, right behind the alternator. You take that valve out and then you can connect a gauge to it. But, there's two different materials gauges are made of, brass and stainless steel. Brass is ok for checking the pressure and removing it afterwards, if you intend on leaving the gauge there permanently, you'll need the stainless. Brass can't handle the constant pressure.

alright, so its been a while, i got a mallory regulator and 24lb injectors. supppper easy to do. good thing i had safety glass's on though because gas shot every where when i pulled the fuel rail thought i relieved all the pressure......

kennebell super charger,t-56 6 speed tranny, aluminum drive shaft,center force clutch,bbk long tube headers,hooker aerochamber mufflers,42lb injectors,sct 6600 chip, 76mm c&l maf,70mm throttle bodie,bbk cold air intake,cobra lower intake,GT40 heads,proform 1.6 roller rockers, renegade hardened push rods,mallory fuelpressure regulator,msd ignition,blaster coil, bbk lowing springs,upr upper and lower control arms, ford racing 3.73 gears,saleen sc replica wheels,saleen body kit, subframe connectors
