Default Upper and Lower Cobra Intake

Can I put a cobra upper and lower intake on my 91 LX 5.0 if so what will it give me and do I have to change the throttle body? What all do I need to do this if it is worth it before I purchase the parts.

It will fit your 5.0 engine. You may need a spacer depending on your valve covers. It would be recomended to get a throttle body & EGR spacer the same size as the throat opening to maximize the performance gains from the intake.

You can expect at most 15-30hp gain if you use the throttle body & spacer with it. Then if you add heads/cam/1.7 roller rockers it will help gain even more. More air flow the better!

GEARS!! rear end gears will give you the most "seat of your pants" feel for the $$ I put 3.73's in mine & kept the stock 26" tires, it woke up quite a bit & still had a good rpm @ highway speed.

sounds good I think that I am going to put 3:73 in it and cobra intake, headers, what throttle body should I go with? Will that be a good thing to do and I should get some good power with that.
