i just bought a 302 engine and a aod tranny out of a 81 thunderbird.i am going to put it in a 89 notch that will use a carb.can i run the aod without the computer? i would like to maybe use a c4.would any amall block c4 work? would i have to have a c4 specific convertor? flywheel? one more thing,is this engine a 28oz or 50oz balance? thanks guys for your help i really appreciate it.

im not sure on the aod but i would definately go c4 over it. you can get a c4 next ot nothing and the price of a rebuild and reliability over an aod not even comparable.
