Default Look what else I found...

I actually found this acouple of months ago. This is a picture of the fuel hose that sits at the rear of the motor. The lame brain who put the '91 u/l on also managed to kink this fuel hose with a brace mounted at the rear of the engine. He just left it in and crunched the fuel hose. I found this when I was looking for a vacuum leak. It's a wonder the car started at all. I have just replaced the fuel rails with a replacement. I could alter the car's idle by pushing this up or down.

Good thing you found that. It would definately cause some issues. I have replaced many intakes and I don't see how that happened while doing it. Don't let him do any more work on your car after that. Also, I guess there isn't any need to search for a vacuum leak anymore. Is the car running smoothly now?

I'm doing an intake swap right now along with adding 1.7 rr's and replacing the valve seals. After I found the mistake, I removed the bracket and tried to straighten it as best as I could. I've noticed a big difference in top end power.

Aeroquip has a Socketless hose that works very well in this area. You could cut off the factory line and just push the Aeroquip hose on in its place. No special tools and no clamps needed! DO NOT USE A HOSE CLAMP WITH THE AEROQUIP SOCKETLESS HOSE!!!! It will not come off unless you cut it off. A hose clamp will damage the hose.

Your local Napa Parts could get this for you or a local performance shop

I am replacing the entire fuel rail with a 93 stock one. Picked it up for 20 bucks and it fits and looks great.
