Okay guys,I was just looking at Coast High's website
and found the 408 stroker engine,an engine based
off the 351w block.
Here is what they say about it:
"Are you ready for a ready to run race engine. Based on a 351W (one piece rear main seal) block. The CHP 408 Dominator is a 12.0:1 all forged short block combined with a pair of Edelbrock Victor Jr. cylinder heads that flow right at 320/225. Add a Pro Mustang solid roller camshaft and this popular engine is your shortest route to a mid nine second car."
Here's some of the specs on the engine:
4.030 to 4.060 bore - 4.000 stroke - Flat top
O-Ringed Stroker clearance block
4340 forged steel crankshaft
CHP forged steel connecting rods
Probe SRS forged pistons
Pro Mustang main girdle
Solid roller camshaft
Edelbrock Victor Jr. cylinder heads (Stage III CNC Port)
I know you can't run 12:1 pistons on pump gas,so I was
going to get 10.5:1 compression pistons with it.
Should still be in the high 9s - low 10s.
Another question about it,would I be able to hook up a
T56 6-speed to it?
Any and all opinions, help, stupid comments welcome & appreciated.
