Default what kind of lifters?

When I do my head and cam swap should I get solid lifters or should I get hydraulic? What are the pros and cons of each? What brands should I look into?

with a roller cam, you should go with hydrolics

Unless you are planning on turning over 7000RPM, there is no need to get solid lifters. I 've run my up to 6800 rpm already a few times(that's pushing it with hydraulic lifters) and I haven't had any problems(knock on wood). I have federal Mogul ones in my car.
