Default Gt-40 Upper & Lower Intake Gaskets

I'm getting ready to install my GT-40 upper and lower intake. I'm having some trouble finding the correct gasket for the lower intake to head. Would the Fel-Pro 1250 be the correct gasket for this?
Also, do any of you recommend a particular brand over another? I've also hear some people say they add a little bit of sealer on the corners around the coolant ports due to high risk of leaking. Any thoughts on this? I'm also debating on weather or not to use an intake spacer. Do the intake spacers make a big enough difference in heat and torque to make it worth adding?
It's a 91Lx 5.0 and a tubular GT-40 intake, hood clearance isn't an issue.
Thanks for the advice!!!
One last thing, can I get these gaskets locally at like a pep boys or is it better to order them from somewhere?

that gasket will work, you will need to trim a piece of the gasket, just use a razor blade and you will see what you need to trim when you lay it against the head (i think its in the front, coolant port) i used sealer on mine bacause i heard the same thing but you dont have to. dont know if the spacers make a difference but the throttle body linkage clearance is alot better with them. any local auto parts store carries them.

i just got my upper intake gt40 gaskets at advanceautoparts.com... its the web site for advance auto.. they have BBk gaskets for gt40 upper intake.. so they might have the lower gaskets too.. i would check there. i also have a spacer on mine and needed it due to clearing the valve covers. the spacer usually runs about 45-65 bucks. and i wasnt able to get any gt40 gaskets at advanced auto, pepboys or auto zone.. i checked.. was only able to order them online. you might from a performance place thou. god knows good luck

You should be able to get the gaskets at your local parts store. And yes, the 1250 is the one you'd use.

Thank you all for all your help. You guys are the best. I've looked on a lot of other forums where someone asks a question, and you see responses like "thats what Google is for" or "you must of forgot to click on search". Some really ignorant responses, and bad attitudes.
It kind of defeats the whole purpose of having these forums.
Here it's completely different, everyone seems to enjoy helping each other out as much as possible.
So thanks again, and I really do appreciate it!!

That's what happens on some forums. Makes me wonder what they're around for when they do that, and why give someone a bad attitude for asking a question?
