Remote Fuel Door Release 87-93. Need Help Fast! I need somebody who has the remote fuel door release mechanism on their 87-93 to go out and take a digital pic of the inside of the fuel door.
I basically need to see how the latch and the actuator is arranged in relation to each other.
Thanks in advance!!!

Sorry I don't have a digital camera. But someone would have to take apart the inner trim to gain access to the inner fuel door plunger. I believe it is just a matter of pushing in the plunger and giving it a half turn to lock it in place.
There is also a manual override pull cord under the hatch mat that will open the door if the solienoid fails to open it. Unless of course that the plunger is the culprit.

Actually I'm installing one on my LX and just need to know how the two latches on the inside of the door are arranged. I pulled this setup from a car in a junk yard back in 2001 and can't remember how it was installed. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry man, I would take the pictures for ya but it is raining like crazy here. If it lets up or stops I will take them. All you want is to open the fuel door and take pictures of the latches?

I think they were standard on the 5.0s until 90, after that it was either unavailable or an option.
