Default question bout the rear end for a 4banger to 5.0 swap

i bought an 89 crown vic and was wondering if the rear will fit on my 81 mustang.... the transmission is an auto, im guessing an aod, will the crown vic driveshaft still work or will i need to buy a new one?

I believe the crown vic axle is too wide for the mustang, not to mention the mounting brackets are different. I doubt the driveshaft is the proper length also.

I agree, but you can ask Fox Chassis about it. But the Crown Victoria is wider and longer so I doubt they'd swap over.
