Default I need help my car is bucking

Hi guys,

I have a 1989 mustang LX 5.0

I recently did these mods, shorty headers,x pipe no cats, flowmasters 40 series, trick flow street heat U/L intake,70mm T/B,75mm Air mass meter,E303 cam, new timing chain abd gear, pulleys,K&N filter, bbk fuel regulator and gauge, venom 19lb injectors and a Motorvation custom chip.
My tranny needs to be rebuilt. My car starts jerking when I let off of the gas. Usually worst when 45mph and under. I have the fuel at 44lbs and I adjusted my linkage just a little to help with the shifting. Here is the thing. It did not start doing this until after the mods. So I can't blame the whole thing on the tranny. What could it be. I have checked all grounds. I need help on this. The bucking is really annoying.

Thanks

just a shot in the dark here but maybe its the wrong mass air meter. if it was a 24lb air meter with 19 lb injectors would cause a lean condition

the meter is from Summit. It is for CAI and 19lb injectors. I already double checked. I wondered about that myself but it is the correct one

You'd rather have Ronald McDonald diagnose your car than me... believe me... but I had an old Buick Skyhawk that bucked right around 30-35 and it turned out to be the EGR valve... Heck, I have no idea if your ride even HAS one... LOL but just a thought...

Good luck!!!

next i would check ignition components, cap, rotor, plugs, wires. i would also check that all your top end gaskets are sealed. upper and lower intake, throttle body, egr. battery terminals, grounds. the vaccum line to the fuel pressure regulator make sure it isn't cracked and the rest of the vaccum lines. i've had a bucking problem before that was a broken battery terminal and i've had it buck from a bad mass air meter. i hope this helps bro
