Default Help. AXLE- Travel/Play too excessive.

Driver axle pushes in and out too much(towards pass. side).

Almost 1/4".

Pass side is fine.

Is this a symptom of something in differential? Can you shim?

When I replace the bearing on that side soon, I bought a new (cross)center pin from Motorcraft for insurance.
Can that cause this?

Thanks everyone for dedication!
