Default roller lifter question, do they need to be replaced?

Just ordered a Trick Flow top end kit and it does not come with lifters. I've heard that you don't have to install new ones, but figured while I have it apart I might as well. What's a good brand to go with? Thanks in advance! -Dave

You heard right, as long as the lifters that's in there now has no damage, you can reuse them. But I don't blame you for wanting new ones, especially when everything else is new.
I used Comp Cams roller lifters, they were $220 a set. You can also get some Ford lifters for around $110.
