Default best clutch for fox body

First off i need some helping making sure it's my clutch that's bad. I just got my rear end rebuilt with 4:10 installed, i was racing and then all of a sudden the car wouldn't go into gear. I'd push in the clutch but it woldn't dis-engage. i was able to get it home and took the cable out thinking it broke, but the cable was fine, and under the car the cable still pulls the fork at the bell housing, so it's like the clutch is stuck. i was needing a new clutch anyways and was also wondering if a king cobra would do fine, i jus have the gears and exhause and cam, around 300 ft-lbs of torque. Any help would be appreciated.

Based on what your car has, a King Cobra would be fine.

I would also buy a firewall adjuster and a 3 hook quadant.that clutch will wear out the weak stock quad..also a heavy duty clutch fork

Mr. Mustang,
After going though a number of King Cobras with their stiff feel, I switched to a Spec clutch and couldn't be happier. I also use the firewall adjuster along with a quadrant.

I tore up the first Spec because of something stupid I did and yet Spec stood behind it as well as resurfacing my flywheel. They were awesome.

I used to use Centerforce Dual Frictions but I kept burning them up. I switched to the King Cobra and had no problems. They are pretty stiff on the leg though.

I just installed a spec clutch and I like it but the first 100 miles was pritty rough with the chattering I'm almost at 200 miles and its pritty much stopped but still hard taking off with how hard it enguages. either try to slide it and it almost stalls or chirp the tires a little and Its fine but that might just be my driver error
