Mis-aligned Intake manifold gasket!

your intake runners are fine, just trim. most people have to trim them a bit. but im looking at your water jacket and i'd worry about that since the gasket covers like 50% of the water jacket in the hole. canfield heads are rare around these parts, so dont know what their quality is...

Ok, this is funny. I turned the intake gasket completely upside down and poof, they fit. LOL

weird.... id definatly trim that water passage though. i went through all kinda problems installing my setup. id trade you headachs any day good luck.

Yea, I'm definetly gona cut that gasket out of the water passage's way.

I just started the port and polish on my Canfields today. I got one head's ports roughed out and one cylinder on that head completed (intake, exhaust and combustion chamber). Nice and smooth!
