Default fuel pressure?

i havea 93 5.0 mustang, ive been having this popping sound coming from my throotle body. someon told it could be my fuiel pressure, that not enough gas is flowing from my tank to the front. if i leave my car in parking,it revs fine ust a little popping sounds here and ther, but when i put it in drive i cant even pass 20 mph cuz of the popping sound andi get not hp? can anyone tell me what this can be?

You can run a fuel pressure test to find out.Popping from the throttle body sounds like a firing issue,bad plug,etc....It can also be a valvetrain problem.

the plugs are new ford racing ones. maybe a couple months. but there fine ive checked the votage on them. it had nothing to do with the cables or spark plugs ove check all that, along with the iac and maf sensor.. a mechanic told me it could be the fuel pressure mayb i need a new fuel pump?

Go ahead and do a fuel pressure test,that way you will know for sure if it is fuel related.post back the results.

so i took it to the shop... my fuel pressure was at 15. it should be at 40-45. so i got the problem fixed, i changed the fuel pump and my car is running.
