Default 88 Mustang Injector Harness

Hey. I am new to these forums and i am in need of some useful tips or ideas here.

First of all, i own an 88 Mustang GT that i recently built and installed a 347 stroker with a mass air conversion kit and 9AL computer. The engine was first started and now we noticed that the number 5, and 8 injectors are not working, there is no fuel in these cylinders. Could this be a problem with the harness? Or has anyone ever had a faulty injector from new? they were tested and appeared to be good. Or is there something else i should look into? Is it not a wiring issue?
Thanks a lot for any help. It is greatly appreciated.
Mike

Try unplugging the injector connector and plugging in a noid light(most A/M parts places have them in there tool section) to see if there is pulse to the injector with the engine running. If the light flashes then the harness is good and the computer is trying to fire the injector. That would leave you with a bad injector or two. But if the light's not flashing, it could either be the harness or the computer.

I agree, you have to check to see if the injectors are working. It's not often a new injector doesn't work, so I'd be checking the harness and the connectors first.
