Default Installing 1987 steering wheel on 1993 Mustang

If the air bag is not a factor are the bolt patterns and other installation factors the same, on the 1987 and 1993 Mustangs? I've read a lot of discussion on this issue, but never heard the simple answer... Air bag deleted, but 1987 wheel would still have cruise control.

Welcome aboard... If the 93 doesn't have cruise, the wheel swap isn't all that's needed.

Thanks for the welcome and the input! The 1993 had the works-- air bag, cruise, horns. My objective was to "de-Naderize it" by deleting air bag and retaining cruise control, and I have a Mustang specialist who's willing to handle the process. I just have a chance to get a 1987 wheel, which I like, and want to be sure it will work once the air bag is deactivated and removed.

As long as your guy can do some minor wiring, the 87 wheel should go onto the 93 column.
