I am sure this is probably a dumb question but oh well. For some reason I think the exhaust is putting off some sort of smell. Like when I drive it , get out park in garage I smell like exhaust. I drive my mach 1 pull it into garage I dont smell at all.

Car is running perfect mechanically as far as I can tell. Could a rich or lean condition cause somethign like this or is it something our foxs do and that I am just noticing more of.

Again I aplogize if this is a odd question this is just something Ive noticed since I ve gotten the car back from the shop.

thanks

soon as I pull in garage I shut car off my garage still smells like exhaust. My mach 1 never does that unless I were to leav in running in there.....weird

i think it may be running a little rich...

unless its real bad i would be concern....

just as a safety precaution I'd check my fuel line ...fuel filter .....and vacuum lines

again i think it may be running rich and with the humidity & rain we have been having here the "sunshine" state just lingering fumes

Remember rich good ....lean bad......

How's the rubber seals at the back of the firewall? And how about the hood to firewall seal? If those are worn or just aged, they tend to let underhood fumes into the interior.

all emissions stuff is off the car. thats one of the factors iam sure. Its not coming into the interior I dont think

Just like sitting at a redlight for a few min you can smell it or at idle its pretty strong.

Taking it to put on dyno next week hopefully have fan fixed AGAIN.....if this doesnt work I am going to just roll the car into the Gulf to Mexico.!!!!!

Yea I ordered new pulley from Vortech it should make about 6 lbs of boost about half of what Iam pushing now. Should make things a little safer why I make up my scatter brained mind on what I am going to do with my engine build.

Reggie do you powder coat also ?

Has anyone had any experience with Kenne Bells on Fox bodies?

Mine does the same too...I have no emissions stuff no cats...Thats why i think my smells at idle...It runs a little rich i know that due to an Air fuel gauge...But i think it smells a little to much like fuel....Havnet figured it out yet either...I just chalk it up to no emissions stuff making it smell like this...

I am starting to think it may have somethibg to do with the carb being too rich. I also have no cats.
