Line lock switch location and install..

I am looking into installing a line lock instead of ordering new e-brake cables because I plan on doing some racing this year. I was wondering where most people are putting the switch and how difficult the install of the system is? I have read that you have to fab some new brake lines. I have a 93 GT.

Yea you need a few lines bent . I have a hurst line lock and hurst sells a cool shifter knob with a switch built in . You CANNOT use a line lock in place of an e brake . You will burn it up because it's a solenoid and is only supposed to be switched on for a few secons at a time . If you do a lot of racing and your class allows one it's worth it . the install is pretty simple.

Thanks for the heads up. I guess I will be buying some new e-brake cables first.
