Default Advice on rear end gears

I have a stock 88 GT, I have some plans for the engine next year, but for the mean time I'm just enjoying driving it now and then. I have been thinking about changing the rear end gears, thinking it might give it a bit more of a punch. Dont want to race it so I dont need a hardcore ratio, so my question is, what ratio would be good as an upgrade?

i recommend 3.73's

it is a good all around gear...

will give you what you are looking for without really affecting your gas mileage or highway driving

Good Luck...

3:73's will be the best for overall balance between performance and everyday use.
