Default 1987 Mustang 5.0 Cheap Mass Air Conversion

I recently purchased a 2nd 87 5.0 coupe and I'm looking for the cheapest way to convert this car to mass air. it's currently speed density with a gt-40 intake that i'm trying to work some bugs out in. any used parts that i could pick up would be great!

Cheapest way is to go to the junkyard and grab the computer, mass airflow sensor, wiring harness, and air intake hoses off of a 1988 (Califorinia) or 1989 (all 50 states) 5.0 Mustang with mass-air. Just make sure it matches the transmission you have and you should be good.

You can use the ones of the later cars, but 1990+ cars had airbags, which resulted in some changes to the harness, you'd have to do some re-pinning using one of those.

RJS 11-gallon fuel cell, C4 tranny, chrome 16" pony wheels, fuzzy dice, brown vinyl half-top, and painted in the tackiest color ever (harvest gold, that's why I call it "The Goldenrod").

Also have a 2003 Dodge Ram (lightly modded daily driver/tow rig/office/dining room/home away from home/workshop... I call it "The Big Blue Dawg".)

That's about the cheapest way to do it, you could also check with MPS and Prestige Mustang for everything you need.
