Default T5 Trans. Tailshaft Bushing

My '88 GT the tail shaft bushing is gone. How difficult is it to replace?

rear bushing removal is involved. i build trannys for a living and know. reason being is that the shift mechanism runs the shift rails through the rear case half. to remove and install rear half tio access bushing area you have to drive out the pins to release the case half. so if your not tranny literate be careful and itemize parts carefully.

I would think an hour, maybe two for labor and then parts. Taking it out yourself will save you some money.
