Does anyone know what the stock exhaust diameter is on a 1992 lx mustang convertible? I'm asking because I have some flowmasters with 2.25 inch diameter that I want to use. Also does the three chambered delta flow series muffler sound good on a 5.0. The engine is completely stock down to the air filter box.

2 1/4 is stock I have 2 chamber flows with dumps and it sounds pretty good I think if not a tiny bit loud at times

Thanks for the help. I'm thinking the three chambered muffles should work out well then, especially since its a convertible.

2 1/4 inch is stock and with the 3 chamber, you'll have a mild exhaust note.
