i have a 1989 mustang and i am trying to find out what size cam that i can put in it with out haveing to get a stall torque converter and want mess with the computer if anyone can help me just let me know

go to Comp Cams web site and read the cam spec cards. these are very helpful for finding how much cam you can run with a stock converter.

There's several you can get to work with the stock converter, what's been done to the car so far? You can't just stick in a different cam and do nothing else.
