Default Will 17x9 Fit My 88 Mustang or Will They Rub In Front

Will 17x9 Fit My 88 Mustang or Will They Rub In Front. And If Anyone Has Pictures of Their Fox Bodiy Mustang With 16's 17's or 18 inch rims can you please send me the pic or the link. I'm trying to decided what size I should go with based on looks. Also, i herd that anything bigger than the 17x8 would rub when i turn? Is this true?

Please Send Pictures to HandyCappedKid@hotmail.com

I just put 17x9 cobra R wheels on my my 90LX and they don't rub. The wheels are a +24mm offset, the tires are 255/40-17. I have a stock suspension and didn't have to make any mods except for the rear in which I had to remove the quad shocks.

Not all 17" rims are created equal... back spacing plays a critical part in fitment. I'm getting coil over rears and back spacing will be critical to how wide I can go.

I had 17x9 on my 88 vert.,and they never rubbed. Then I changed them to 17x8 1/2 all around, and still I have no rubbing.

I have the same wheels as twister, but with 96 spindles and 245/45/17 on my 90-no rub. 255/50/17 on back, had to remove quad shocks-no rub
