Flowmaster Super 44 vs. Flowmaster 40 Series Mufflers
I have a 1989 Mustang GT without catalytic converters. I'm trying to decide between the Flowmaster Super 44 and the orginal Flowmaster 40 Series Mufflers. I've seen a pair of the Super 44's shipped for like $156. And a pair of the Flowmaster 40 series shipped for $116. Is there a big difference in the performance and sound? Are they worth the extra money?
When i switch out my Mac exhaust im going to go with the super 44's i was told there a little louder and a little smaller case...here is a clip of a mustang with the 40's i think and then super 44's i like te 44's way better in this clip...hope this helps....

Yea i got bbk long tubes bbk x pipe and i'm gettin the 44's when i put it all on. Can't wait to hear it!!!!!

Well i was going to get them but i thought it over i didnt want to cut up or hack up my Brand new Mac cat back no-one seems to want it i would sell it cheap and just buy the American thunder cat back with the super 44's.....That way i can re-coupe some of my money instead of just spending $375 on the Mac just to cut out the mufflers...and spend money on the Flows...So i thought it over if i sold the Mac....and bought the Americn thunder cat back...i think it would be cheaper? I think...lol
And Eagle yeah do a drive by for me.....
