Question New Steering rack for 1988 Mustang 5.0 GT

Should the rack bushings be replaced along with steering rack?
Then it goes in for an alignment next.
But car is up on the rack with front struts removed and front tires off.
In this position should the sway bar end links be in a pinched deformed shape or should they retain their donut shape?
If I do have sway bar end links and also the rack bushings replaced after alignment will it have to be aligned again?

I would replace the bushings now with the new rack. The sway bar busings may be distorted with the suspension hanging and should go back to original shape. If you install new anti-sway links after the alignment, that is fine.

While everything is apart, be best to replace the bushings now.

Let's see I'm having the radiator replaced, thermostat, timing cover, harmonic balancer, the whole steering rack with a kit (doesn't this include the bushings?) urethane steering links, fogs changed, camber plates, front shocks, parking lamp replaced, parking brake adjusted, headlight adjustment, to the tune of +$2,000

With no tires, struts on with rotors sagging downwards the steering links looked real pinched out of position. One looks like it is coming off. Is it supposte to return back to its shape once the struts and tires are back on?
