Default Steeda firewall adj ???'s

Hey guys, I put a steeda quadrant and firewall adj in my car last weekend and have a few questions. I was reading a mustang mag and they said to tighten the nut on the cable so there is zero-lash. What's that? Also now the clutch grabs really high. I have to let the pedal all the way out for it to grab. How do you adjust that with firewall adj? Basically what I'm asking is, turning the firewall adj. towards the firewall does what? And turning it away from the firewall does what? Thanks!

Adj. toward firewall will give more "lash" or slack in the cable. This will make clutch release lower on the pedal stroke

Adj out will take you towards 0 "lash or less slack in the cable. This will move the release higher on the pedal stroke, like yours.

You may need to adj yours toward the fire wall.
