Default c&l mass air meter

so i just bought a c&l 76 mm meter calibrated for 30# injectors, it didnt come with the black electronics but it says just to use the one out of the one you are replacing. but the one i am replacing is a pro m, i took it off and it bolts in and everything will it be okay one i install everything on the car

Why are you replacing a Pro M? I doubt it'll work, that sensor isn't the same as a stock meter element.

becuse i had a pro m meter for 19# injectors and i just got 30# with a c&l meter off ebay but it has no electronics

Do yourself a favor a sell the one on Ebay again, and send the Pro M back to Pro M and pay the $100 to have it recalibrated.

your sensor will work in the sense that it wont kill your car, but your going to have driveabilitly problems, your sample tube on the C&L is designed to use your stock sensor to trick the computer into thinking its getting more/less air depending on load you put on the motor, the PRO-M is designed similar in the fact it tricks the computer as well, if you swap that sensor to a different body and the flow was desigened for the other, your going to have problems surging, and inconsitant acceleration, i mean you bought the parts so i'd try it to see what you come up with, but my better judgement say it wont work like you want it to
