I was looking into swapping to disc and found an 88 t-bird coupe rear end. I know they are longer 3/4" but will 17x9 wheels w/ 285 tires rub the fender well? They look like they would but the stock suspension doesnt look like it allows the rear to squat that far. Need someone w/ experience to help! Thanks.

you can purchase new bracket to move the calipers in and use stock 8.8 axles to take of the extra width

Yeah I know that, I could just use those on the rear I have. But I wanted to try and use these to save $200. Besides my quads rub sometimes and that would fix the problem. Also, My rear end is bullet proof and I want to just swap the axles. And I could just put my axles and drum brakes in the other rear end and sell.
