brake lines for 1986 Mustang GT

Anyone have a good idea for replacing the rear brake lines on an '86 GT? I have heard that stainless lines may not be the way to go, which is against what I would see to be common sense...
Also, has anyone used a specific brand that worked well or didn't? Any help would be appreciated....I blew a brake line and plan to replace the whole thing.

I bought 2 new rear ss lines at my ford dealer for my 89 last year. They were protected by a nice wire coil wrapped around them to protect the lines themselves. A little on the expensive side if I can remember correctly; but hey it's a fox.... well worth it IMO

Why wouldn't stainless be the one to use? The ones at the Ford dealer with the coil around them would be the best ones to get.
