Default please help duraspark ignition no spark

i have an 89 mustang with a carbed 5.0 motor in it and im trying to wire a duraspark 2 ingnition ive got the diagrams but i must have something wrong cause i cant get any spark i got a brand hei distrubtor,coil,ignition module,plugs,wires,cap and rotor bug any body have any ideas what can be wrong im getting power to the coil.any help will be highly appeciated thanks

You should start with double and triple checking your wiring setup. There's really no way to help you out aside from recommending that you thoroughly check your wiring. The only other possibility is that one of the components is faulty and needs to be exchanged. Keep in mind that even though something is brand new, it can still have a factory defect.

could be the duraspark module some of the new ones are junky, if you can find a used one with the blue connector they were the best ones.

I had to go back to the parts store 3 times to get a good one. If you can afford it, upgrade to msd.

It has to do with the conversion over to a carb. What model # are the parts? What brands? Were they meant for EFI or a carb application?
