get a digital volt meter (this will make it easier), test the postive pole with the key on, you should get atleast 12 volts with the car not running, then switch the voltmeter to Ohm's to measure the resistance on the neagtive pole, im not sure the exact voltage/resistance, somone should on here should be able to track that down, or you if you can get a buddy to hook up a known good coil that would help also

  1. Resistance between terminals GND and PIP-in should be greater than 500 ohms.
  2. Resistance between terminals PIP PWR and PIP in should be less than 2000 ohms.
  3. Resistance between terminals PIP PWR and TFI PWR should be less than 200 ohms.
  4. Resistance between terminals GND and IGN GND should be less than 2 ohms.
  5. Resistance between terminals PIP-in and PIP should be less than 200 ohms.

i think he's asking about the ingnition coil, not the module awsome info

Yea it would be nice if the original poster wrote back.... He prob fixed the problem but forgot about the people he asked for help. I hope he can test his coil without asking, you know guys? Anyways I hope he was asking for the Ignition Module. Either way someone will benefit from the diagrams.
