yes, they will work together if they have to, but why go through the trouble of swapping the cam and then leave the junky stock valve springs in? buy a set of Crane 'Beehive' springs now and you'll thank yourself for it later, i promise.

Yeah I agree take the time to get the heads redone with good springs, valve job, and seals. I'm running GT40P heads with a E-303 cam. Works great for me, also remember that the only short tube headers that will bolt on with no issues are the Ford Racing P headers or Mac GT40P headers due to the spark plug angle. Long tubes will also work fine but are a bit** to put on sometimes.

Good advice. Just remember those heads are from a '99 (8 yrs old) and most likely have at least 75K miles on them. I would consider even doing a valve job.

Technically, yes you could use the springs with that cam but it'd be best if you just swapped the springs while swapping the heads. Those springs are old, not the best for performance use, and would allow valve float before quality springs would. Factory Ford springs aren't exactly the best springs to begin with.

E-303 lift = .498"
Stock exhaust spring lift to coil bind = .510"
Clearance provided = .012"

You need ~.060" clearance and the pressure rate of the stock springs is not optimal, so no.... stock springs + E-303 cam shouldn't be used.
