Default 87 mustang rear disc brake?

hey guys i have a 87 mustang 5.0 and i already have the 5 lug swap. i just bought the rear disc brake calipers, brakets, and all other hardware from a 94 5.0, is there any thing else i need like a new master cylinder or anything?

87 convertible, 306 all forged internals, E303 cam, stock heads but ported no more emission bump, gt40 lower manifold with a custom build cobra upper manifold, 30# injectors VORTEC supercharger making 5psi. bbk long tubes and bbk x pipe, slp catback. tubuar rear arm, and sub frame connectors

i believe that you'll need a new master cylinder and a new proportioning valve. there will also be a bit of brake line fabrication involved, but it's not hard to do.

You'll also need the axles from the '94 if you don't have them already.

ok so should i just get the master cylinder from a 94 stang, and whats a proportioning valve for does a stock 87 stang have one.

Read up:
79-93 5 Lug Ford Fox Body Mustang Conversions

Look in the MC & PV link on the left of the page for master cylinder options.

You will need to purchase and install a 3-2 port conversion kit as mentioned in the link. You will also need to disable the stock proportioning valve w/ the plug from Ford Racing and install an adjustable proportioning valve. Also modify the parking brake lever and install new cables from Ford Racing.

Follow this link and view the installation instructions for the M-2300-K kit.

if i already ahve the specific axle out of the ranger can i just use them instead of the 94 ones. cause i know that they are .75 inches longer

You should be able to if they are indeed the same length as the '94-98 axles.
