Default 1989 Mustang GT, where is the canister purge valve?

I just bought an '89 GT and had to get her smogged. She failed because one of the vacuum lines from the carbon/charcoal canister was missing. The smaller one on the left is for the fuel evap. I have no idea where the other line even goes. I called Ford and the hose is discontinued and all they could tell me is that it connects to a purge valve. Any ideas where I can get this line and where it leads to? Thanks in advance

From the diagram you posted on the right it shows that the line connects to the 'canister purge valve'. Where is that?

Thanks for the help guys. I finally found the purge valve. It is in the passenger side, the old hose just ripped and the purge valve was just hanging

At least you found it. I was about to say it should be inline with the hose leading to the intake.
