I have understood the basics of engines for a long time. As for technical stuff, specs, and such, not so much. Especially cam specs. I know basically how they work but I was looking around trying to research more and came up with this VERY informative site...

Cams are hard to understand, it takes a long time of study and actual experience before all the technical parts can make sense. There's more than just lift and duration involved with a cam.
That is a good link for those who need to know more... that saves a lot of typing.
