Default alphabet cam info and sounds

From what I've heard, the B cam is lumpier than the E and should be used on a more heavily modified engine. And the E is for auto, but can the B be used for auto as well? Also, what is the F cam all about. Does anyone have any sound clips?

I would not go with an alphabet cam because there are so much better grinds out there. I would talk to Comp Cams and see what they say for your application. Thats what they do. Or talk to Ed Curtis and get a custom one made for your car.

The letter Cams are ok, but like said above better cam grinds out there, i like and use in my 84gt Comp cams, its better than an E cam but slightly milder than the B cam, the letter cams are recommended for manual, but if you use for auto you will have to get a high stall converter.

Just before the light turned green the little ******* pointed to the NOS sicker on his machine and left a plasic patch that lasted about 100ft. I didn't stand a chance, I was smoked. He rasied his fist in victory and when home for milk and cookies, I just went to the track.

im gonna go for the SQ myself, i dont really want to advertise whats under the hood. never know when some jackass might want whats under your hood or car for that matter. im gonna live with the tranny for now too, but im just going to leave it as is till it goes and then just go for whatever is cheaper at the time, either the lentech or tremec with all the goodies.
