My fuel pump is only 5 months old.....just recently it is making that whinning noise like it usally does...but that sounds stays on and will not turn off...fuel is only 5mths old...hmm? And the fuel sending unit is about 5 months old as well...and for some reason...my fuel gauge on my dash...is showing empty at all times...even when i added a full tank....hmm??

P.S. (weird...maybe the wires got fried when I had put that MSD Ignition on...for those who remember me....with my car not starting problem..)

what brand of pump did you get? you may have gotten a faulty pump or other brands are louder than others. Or you may have a leak and its not pressurizing. You changed the entire fuel sending unit at the same time? perhaps you fried it, but hopefully its just a loose wire or a wires off somewhere, check to make sure you have a good clean ground, that could do it.

DO NOT BUY FROM HI-LO if thats where you bought it. HI-LO cannot support Mustang's. Ask me and I can tell you what all I went through with them. My sister works there and I always got dirt cheap prices. However, everything always broke.
