Question changing the shocks

how hard is it to change the rear shocks on a 95 gt? What all tools do you need?

Its quite easy, but you might need an impact wrench to remove the upper nuts.

Lift the rear, remove the lower shock bolts, then the upper nuts and out they go.

When I changed mine, i used a 1/2" breaker bar. No problems.
It's straight forward. Unbolt the old ones and install the new ones.

To touch on this subject I'll ask an additional question. When driving slowly and braking slowly I hear a sort of "clunking sound" from the rear. Its prolly the shocks but I'm not sure. Are you hearing the same thing?

I don't have the spare in at the moment, nor do I have the back seats in. It doesn't sound like it could be the drive shaft but I'll check tonight and let you know how snug it is.
