Well some good quality heads will take up that 1600 bucks easily...

Upper and lower intake another 450-550.

Gaskets will probably be 80-150 depending on what kind you get.

Cam will run you 275-305 for custom grind

Your going to need more $ like twice that. But a TFS or Edelbrock setup would be great. Holley is probably better than those. Good luck!

330 hp takes about 2700 bucks or more to get it done right. Dont forget about the suspension (subframe connectors, upper and lower control arms, springs and shocks/struts, sway bars/strut tower brace), fuel system (24 pound per hour injectors, 255 pound per hour fuel pump, high flow fuel rails, adjustable fuel pressure regulator etc etc), tranny and rear end upgrades

Are we talking to the wheels or flywheel horsepower? If we're talking flywheel than it can be done easily for under 1600 but if you're talking about rear wheel horsepower than like was said already it's going to take some serious heads with matching cam and intake on a 302 bro.

If you can save up a few more dollars, i would recommend this kit for some serious power. It comes with everything you need for a complete top-end swap, except for heads/intake bolts.

Trick Flow Specialties TFS-K514-350-370 - Trick Flow® 350 HP Twisted Wedge® Top-End Engine Kits for Ford 5.0L - summitracing.com

If this is a bit out of your price range though, let us know and we can try to piece together a slightly more affordable combo.

You will need more than 1600. A decent kit like Trick Flow Top end kit is 22-2400. This does not include lifters. Then, if you are not doing the work yourself expect a 1200-1600 labor charge.

And as always, expect the unexpected when it comes to costs. Your newfound power may break a weaker component and prompt another upgrade/repair cost.

Speed costs..... how fast do you want to spend your money?

Slap some nitrous on that bad boy!!!! OR get used parts from ebay or craigslist. Or maybe even a junkyard. I got an explorer intake ill sell ya and some gt40p heads, and 24lb injectors. and F cam. and that would be under your budget! But it probly wont make 330 rwhp though. But it would at the crank.

Like they said, you'll need about a thousand more to get that hp level you want. But that's to do it the old fashioned way, building the engine.
You could get a nitrous kit along with all the recommended parts to ensure you don't blow the intake off, would be around $1200-$1500.
