Default How to set fuel pressure? (adjustable regulator)

Quick question. If I want to set fuel pressure to 39PSI or whichever pressure, is it supposed to be set when the car is at idle or accelerating it a little bit.
I am setting the pressure at 39PSI while at idle, but when I accelerate the pressure drops to about 34-35psi, and that is at about Ľof WOT,
so I assume that at WOT it drops even more. Is that OK?
Thanks

you set the Fuel Pressure at idle with the vacuum hose off.

the fuel pressure regulator works off of vacuum the higher the vacuum the lower the pressure.

at WOT you have the least amount of vacuum so the fuel pressure will be highest.
