Default 94 Front Cap To 98+ Front Cap Conversion

Hey guys and girls. I was wondering what modifications, if any would I have to do to upgrade my 94 GT's front cap. i would like to cross it over to the new style hood, fenders and lights. But would I have to make any body modifications. Or would the new style fenders, hood and lights just bolt on? If the conversion is easy to do (not drilling, or cutting anything) I am going to put the Cobra R-1 front facia on as well. That front-end is just killer!

You can install 99+ body parts into 94-98s, but need to do everything, doors, rear fenders, bumper..the whole thing.

The lines are more squareish in the 99+s, so just changing part of the body will looked un-matched.

Better look for aftermarket body modifications, there are plenty that look pretty nice.

I think your right, after I looked at some of the after market body kits, I found one that I think is just the best non-ricer front cap I have ever seen. That R34 Front Bumper is the best. Hey man, thanks for the web site. I like these cars sooo much better than my wifes F-Body. Takes a little coin to make one as fast as an LS1 T/A, but when you get there, you have a fast as hell car that weighs around 3,000 pounds, vice a T/A at around 3550 pounds!! And also you can buy body kits and all kind of other things to make these things look like it's worth over $100,000! With the F-Body's, you have what, a hood, lower front facia air dam, and, and, oh - that's it. (well, maybe more if you look). (I'm NOT taking nothing away from the T/A's, they are great cars, factory super fast. But you can't do anything with them. And it cost an arm and a leg to make them faster! I have crossed over for this very reason! Cheaper, more add-ons, better looking, alot more parts to play with. (for now). Anyway, thanks!
