the list is still not done but I can't think anymore? This all in a 1993 Ford F-150 standerd cab long bed. What do ya think about this hauler? The computer based system is a 92' Fox body EEC-IV with a Painless Wiring Harness to help hook up the fuel injection. This think has been running for about a month now and still nedds some stuff. The check engine light won't go out now, and she runs lean after WOT for a while. Still needs some work. You also wouldn't belive the wheel hope a truck can produce. Ever see the rear tires come off the ground on a launch? Well me and my best freind arent happy with the cam right now. We stayed mild duration because a Kenne Bell supercharger is waiting for the truck.WOW. We now whant to go ahed and unleash the monster Being Natualy Asperated for a while. We want a huge duration cam and came across a few we liked but are unsure of what it would do to the computer?

What about the Lunati hydraulic Roller cam: 51018LUN

HYDRAULIC ROLLER, Lopey idle. This is the cam for a hot bracket car. Likes nitrous! 3000-6800 242°252° duration@ .050"
.560".576"lift
110° lobe Sep
106° Int C/L
or
Comp Cams: CRN-449811

Specifications:
* Advertised duration: 298 intake/306 exhaust
* Duration at .050 in. cam lift: 236 intake/244 exhaust
* Gross valve lift: .574 in. intake/.595 in. exhaust
* Lobe separation: 114 degrees
* Basic rpm range: 3,200 to 6,800
* Rough idle

If you know of any cams this big made by anyone else please let me know, also do you think these big of a cam will have any problems with my setup or the EEC-IV comuter? Have any of you put a cam this radical in a Fuel injected mustang. Will I be the first. Let me know!!!!!!
Thanks for your time, Chad

With as much money as you've put into it, why not go custom grind.

You really need to look into a custom burned chip or some kind of tuner (the TwEECer is great). You're so far beyond what the stock EEC is designed for that it's really holding you back.

The FTI cam in my EFI 306 is similar in size to those two.

I agree with ghostdog, you really should be looking at a custom cam. Nobody designs an off the shelf cam for an injected 393. When you get the new cam in you're going to need larger injectors also.
