The linkage is fine the cable is fine they are all not broken. Its in the tranny. I tried using a rubber mallet and tapped but I think i'm gonna end up pullin the pan. There is a little bearing that keeps it in the gear you put it in under the selector. Anybody had any problems with that ball bearing?Gotta use it in the morning. Is it the tranny that tells the ignition not to work while it in gear or is it in the dhift selector on the shifter by the seat... Can I start it in drive when disconecting the wires?
Thanks again

if its a mechanical problem inside the tranny it will start with the selector in park or worst case scenario set your parking brake chock the wheel to be safe, turn the key to the on position (so all the dash lights are on) and touch a screwdriver to the two big posts on the started solenoid located on the drivers side fender well next to the battery

Pulled the pan today. Cant figure out why it got stuck, the fluid wasnt in that bad of shape. All it took was a little anger management and it shifts fine now. Found a freakin leak from the rear main seal while I was under her. I'll fix that when I blow the damn tranny up. So irritated. Thanks for your help.
