fuel problems My car has been running really weak for a couple of weeks. I was messing with it the other night and adjusted my fuel pressure from 45 psi to 62 psi with vac off. At 45 psi the car would fall on its face at WOT. But at 62psi it ran great. The problem is the 1st night i adjusted the screw the fuel pressure requlator went bad. So i got another AFPR and it lasted 2 days. What would be causing my car to need so much fuel pressure? Why would the fuel pressure regulators be going bad? They were both holley. Is it possible I over tightened the fuel pressure regulator screw and busted the diaphram? Is it possible the fuel pump is going bad?
The car is an 88 5.0 mustang lx with a cam, 24lb injectors, cobra intake, and stock heads
Any help would be appreciated
