i heard a sound coming from the back left side of my motor, and i noticed a little smoke rising up, the sound was like a ticking almost, i can see the gasket ripping out the side from under one of the heads, do i need to replace the gasket, should i not drive the car, what are the possible outcomes and reasons that this can be happening, someone please get back to me asap

Sounds like a blown head gasket. I'd stop driving it, and replace it asap. The ticking has me worried though.. How long have you driven it like this?

If it's coming out from under the heads, then it needs replacing and definitely don't drive it. You could cause more pricey damage if you do.

I would just replace the gasket and do not drive it the tick could just be compression leaking from where the head gasket blew.
