Default 3V into Fox Body

Has anybody done this? My 5.0 LX is approaching 200K and I'm in the process of a restomod and I'd like to have the 5 speed auto. The stock HP is fine with me. Will the tubular crossmembers fit with the 3V? I realize the computer and wiring harness will be necessary.

That'll take some fabrication skills but you can make anything fit. You'll also need a cowl hood to clear the engine, and an exhaust system that will match the year of the engine because you'll be held to the 2005+ Mustang emission level, not the year of the car.

Thanks awesome!

I was thinking about this swap a few weeks ago. A local guy is selling a 2007 3v from his totaled Mustang for $2k and it comes with the engine, trans, ecu and wiring!
