Default Favortie Long Tube Headers?

I saw some FlowTech long tube 1 5/8" long tube headers on summit for like $130 ish. Price is fantastic in my budget, anyone like these? What are the drawbacks of FlowTech what others should I consider??

I had those Flowtech headers and did'nt like them at all, took em off in a month, they constantly leak, and i have a lot of expireence with headers that O-ring seal they claim is bogus and poor quality (u get what u pay for) spend the extra $100 or 2 and get something from HOOKER headers, or a pair of shorties from FMS.

just about everything has its good and bad ratings but its good that you ask a majority of people about a product so you can get a base idea, but me personally i would spend the extra money like 5literChevyEatr said and get something more reliable, i like the BBK longtubes, Mac and Hooker.

He rasied his fist in victory and when home for milk and cookies, I just went to the track.

Bassani! They'll last longer and look better over a period of time over the others. Pricey, but worth it in the long run.

Flow Tech will burn out with-in a year or so, I personally like my heddman husler headers for long tubes and heddman shortys. Both have held up for many years and flow great!!

I've tried a few diff headers and the FT LT's were one of them. you can't go wrong for the price. i never use any other gasket other than the felpro 1415's. leaking headers are usually attrituted to the header bolts backing out. the only prob I had with em was that they touched my K member on the pass side which I solved by using a die grinder. the guy i sold them too never had that problem though. the plus to them is they run far away from the clutch cable and the reason I sold em was for the upgraded engine combo which called for 1-3/4" LT's. The FT's are a copy of the over priced hookers at the time I bought them they didn't have an H pipe out. the tech at FT told me to just buy the Hooker one because the headers were clones the tech guy told me that FT was started by guys that used to work for Hooker anyway the fit was perfect
