Steeda Double Hook quadrant + cable question

I have a steeda double (installed) hook quadrant and steeda adjustable cable. I have a firewall adjuster that will be here monday but I want to go ahead and change my cable . Do I put the cable on the first hook (closest to the firewall) or the last hook of the quadrant? OR does it not matter since I can adjust it at either position?

Right now with the stock cable I have it on the farthest hook.

I just bought the whole kit, quadrant, firewall adjuster, and adjutable cable.

1.If you are using a firewall mounted cable adjuster, attach the cable to the hook closest to the firewall.

2.If you are using an adjustable cable WITHOUT a firewall adjuster, attach the cable to the hook farthest away from the firewall.

Since it's wednesday and maybe you have your firewall adjuster you will wanna go with #1.
